LOCKER LOVE

We have two old metal lockers in our hallway where we keep our coats, hats and scarves. They were one of the first things I bought for our house, a. because they're hard to come by so when I found them I took my chance and b. I had spent many an hour on the internet obsessing over them displayed in people's hallways, mud rooms etc.
As you can see, they haven't been touched since the day they were bought. I think our bright yellow door is enough to deal with as you walk into our house and they are the perfect level of distressed for our space. Here's a few ideas for upcycling metal lockers that might instill some locker love into your heart.

Paint them. There's a lot of prep work for this but they add a pop of colour to your space and breathe new life into old lockers.

Distress them. Probably the best choice if you're going for an industrial look in your space. And not too much work involved if your lockers are already a bit damaged.

Repurpose them. Remove the doors, turn one on it's side, add mirrors, add legs. The options are as endless as your imagination.

So, do you have locker love?
